The most reliable Labyrinth seal system available on the market at present. Advantageously configured, combined centrifugal seal similar to fang labyrinth seals which allow even strongly fluid sprayed bearings to be sealed. The Blocking air seals as an additional sealant are excellent to block out dust. The standard materials used are brass and VITON- O-Rings.

The blocking air seals have been technically conceived not to allow the rolling bearing lubricant to dry out i.e. no air can reach the rolling bearing system (ex. Very unfavourable with hydrodyn. i.e. hydrostat. application)

Advantages
Developed for use in turret heads as the difficulty in this case is the distance to the central axis. In this case the seal head creates a high sealing pressure which can be supported by the blocking air seal. This construction comprises the properties of type VBH-H. Therefore it is possible to recover strong water pressure etc. without damaging the seal.

Labyrinth seal VBX-XD

Advantages
These seals are similar to type VBX-H, with the difference that a groove has been integrated at the rear end (the part facing the rolling ball bearing), that allows the lubricant to flow back to the rolling ball bearing (lubricant return groove). These are used almost exclusively for oil-air lubricated work tool spindles.
